A coax connector, also known as an RF Connector(Radio Frequency connector), are commonly used with coaxial cables to facilitate in the transmission of an RF signal. If a Coax connector changes the impedance of its transmission wire, reflections and losses will occur. Coax connectors must block external signals from reaching the circuit, as well as prevent leakage of energy out of the circuit. Common types of Coax Connectors include SMA, SMB, SSMB, SMC, MCX, MMCX, MC CARD, BNC, TNC, UHF, MINI-UHF, and microminiature IPX interfaces. Below is a list of coax connector suppliers.
